  • Position Title: Sales Coordinator Status: Full-Time, Exempt

    Position Summary: Sales Coordinator assists Sales and Business Development to sell IT and Audio Visual products and services. Supports sales activities and proposal-making activities. Coordinates with Operations in the transition from sales to project execution.

    Monitors budget and expenditures to optimize sales and projects profitability. Ensures efficiency and customer satisfaction.

     

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Assists in proposal writing and pricing, and proposal review process
    • Coordinates RFP, RFQ, Sources Sought and other proposal activities, ensuring proposals are complete and deadlines are met
    • Researches relevant Federal and State procurement websites daily and identifies contract opportunities; utilizes Contract Vehicles
    • Obtains quotes for sales proposals from vendors
    • Organizes sales information, activities, marketing materials, website and other social media
    • Compiles, organizes and updates customer and vendor database and information
    • Works with Operations to transition from sales to project execution
    • Tracks project expenditures and labor utilization to ensure costs do not exceed budget
    • Participates in Sales and Business Development strategy and process improvement
    • Establishes and maintains excellent relations with vendors, customers and Contracting Offices
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Physical and Mental Demands:

    • Works independently 40-50 hours per week depending on demand and deadlines, some weekend and afterhours
    • Effective verbal, reading, writing, math and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize

     

    Experience/Skills/Knowledge Requirements:

    • Understands how to use Contract Vehicles to obtain contracts
    • Understanding of Federal sales and procurement process and dynamics
    • Experience with searching for and writing to Federal RFQ’s and RFP’s
    • Ability to comprehend and interpret SOW and PWS
    • Ability to communicate effectively with Procurement offices, Military customers, and COR’s
    • Keen ability to work with both numbers and people
    • MS Office Suite proficiency

     

    Work Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday. Some weekend and afterhours work required. Some travel required.
